Default caliper help

2004 C5. Took calipers/brackets sent for powder coating. When came back I installed L&R front and rear because I found no markings indicating L or R. In addition the way I mounted them especially front was because that was the only way the brake line would reach. The bleeder now faces downward. A lot of air still in system and it makes sense that air is getting trapped on top of piston chamber. Don't think there is much difference on rears?? seem to be identical.
Anyone faced this. My fault for not marking when I removed them. I should know better.
Live an learn.
Cannot seem to find picture of how they go but parts lists as left and right.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'm not sure what you need help with. If the bleeders are down then you've got them on the wrong sides, simple as that.

I recall something like this coming up before and there being some type of marking on the caliper that might appear to be for the side they belong on, but it's not for that.

Not to insult your abilities, the fronts would be larger and have the CORVETTE script. The rears are smaller. Maybe swap sides?

No insult taken. perhaps I worded it wrong.
The front and rear is simple. It is the right and left.

If I am not mistaken the answer was givin in that the bleeders on the front are high side, and the rear bleeders towards the front of the car?

please correct me if I am wrong

Thanks for all the input. By the way no markings at all.

Thank You. It makes sense from a bleeding view. I have them backwards if the bleeders are at high point.
The fronts now face down Will check that the bleeders at rear a re towards car away from rear of car.

Air in the brake fluid will find its way to the highest point on/in the caliper. That is where the bleeders should be. Otherwise, you can bleed all day but there is no way to get the air from the top of the caliper down to the bleeder in the bottom. Simple physics. You need to flip the calipers.

Your only other option is to put the car on a rotisserie and flip the whole car upside down. Then you could bleed them as they set!

Kmetros,
That is why I said it makes no sense they are on bottom. I was rushing and it appears that the wrong brake lines were sent since the front SS lines will not reach with bleeders on top so stupidly and knowing better I just assumed that was the way they went even though the new lines are same length as OEM lines?? and the calipers are not marked.
Changing them around Friday and picking up correct brake lines.

Thanks all for the input.

Good luck and let's see some pics of the new hardware when you're finished.
