Default TB adapter

Is Hinson Motorsports a good or trustworthy brand?

I found their LS2 to LS1 TB adapter on Ebay for $15 cheaper than the ones form Zip-Corvette etc. Just wondering if any one has tried this one or knows someone who has had success with it.

Part number 108115

I also would like to know which ones people "did" go with that have done the swap.

Unless you modify the intake manifold to accept an LS2 TB,, adapting one to your LS1 / LS6 manifold IMHO would seem to be counter productive.

The stock LS1/6 TB can easily support 500 hp.

Your going to need to TUNE after you install the LS2 TB for sure!

I'll be installing my FAST intake with an LS2 TB. I ordered the cable from Hinson that you're talking about and its exactly the same one that others are charging higher prices. Hinson is very reputable.

I am getting the parts together for a build. Definitely will be running a FAST or TPiS LS6 modified intake.

Hinson is a reputable dealer. That's the Casper adapter. I would recommend the RaceTronics adapter. The wiring is the same but they have a lot more thought in a sealed harness with no bare wires exposed and the connectors where pin's are not used have silicon in the holes, unlike the Casper. Ask me how I know, I bought the same one from Hinson and then saw a RaceTronics. This has nothing to do with Hinson, they don't make the adapter. Also, from my research no one sells the FAST cheaper than Hinson (a month ago when I was in the market).
One more thing, If you haven't bought the LS2 TB get it from Amazon.
