Picking up Vette today after engine mods
After adding heads, cam, cold air intake, long tubes w/ X pipe and high flow cats dynoed @ 424.2 RWHP and 393.1 ft lbs Tq.
That's a gain of 117 HP and 64 ft lbs torque. Pretty happy.

Good gains. Just be aware of the added stress on the drivetrain. Your clutch and diff. are particularly at risk. Also, it'd be interesting to have the specs on your mods.

Which heads/cam did you go with? I already have long tubes and the clutch and trans done and ready for power mods.

These aren't collectors items. Mines a driver. C 5's are a dime a dozen.

Now go try it with 3:73 or 3:90 gears to really scare yourself and/or put a permanent smile on your face when you hit the pedal.

It's pretty much a daily driver and living in the hill country here in Texas with lots of twisties I'm happy with the 3:42 gears.
About 8 of us are taking the I 30 toll road (the one with the 85 mph speed limit) tomorow night down to San Antone to the drag strip.

I had the same combo when I had my C5 with 4.10's and I loved it!
