Is my C5 haunted?
I'm thinking a tire has gone flat, so I tap the brakes to slow down and pull over and it does it again, pulling hard left, then hard right. Then the ABS/Traction Control/Active Handling all light up.
But the car is driving normal again, so I continue to my friends house. Five Minutes later, I get a Service Soon message on the DIC. When I start up the car at my friends house, no more warnings or lights.
Sorry, but I haven't had a chance to see what codes came up. Any clues? It's a 1999 M6 coupe with 170,000 miles and a cam, headers and exhaust.

In any case, removing the drivers seat gives you LOTS of room to work,, trust me.. You can lay in the drivers floor with your feet over the back and it works wonderfully!!
Bill
Before you remove yours,, make sure that you can find the CORRECT replacement SWPS for your year and RPO Level!

OK, just for argument's sake, say the sensor is on the way out. I know it can posess my car and try to make it try to change lanes by itself. What if it goes out completely or if it's removed? What kind of issues would that cause?
