Default A/C not working properly

2000 C5 with climate control. Recently the A/C has been only working interminttantly. Will shut itself off while driving or not even turn on. When pressing the A/C button the light only blinks and then goes out, hence, no A/C. Took to technician and of course it was working. Did test and was fully charged and blowing cold. Problem is becoming more frequent.
Anyone with any ideas or has anyone experienced this problem.

Signed, getting warmer.

Actually, the temp reading for outside temp has not worked right for about 2-3 years. Always has extreme fluxuations below what outside temp really is.

That is why your ac is acting flakey. It is a cheap easy fix.
