I have to go about three hours to get tuned, but it's worth it.

And you pay around $500? Well actually the guy I talked to told me 300 to 500 depending on how long it takes to get it right.

What about this??? - http://www.aacorvette.com/performanc...roducts_id=191

I could do the real deal.. get those and then save up for a cam.. it would probably be around 6 months. Kind of like this idea better.. what do you guys think???

I noticed in the ad for the patriot heads they don't mention anything about rockers pushrods and lifters.. do those have to be swapped out from the stock heads???

I thinking its best to do this first and just save up for the cam.. its like some one said a page or two back about how I wont be really happy unless I do both.

Stock rocker arms, pushrods, and lifters can be reused, but upgrades are all seperate from aftermarket heads. You Do get better springs, which you really need. You get all that stuff, and all you need to add is a camshaft, which will give you the most power gain. Just the cam only isn't too expensive. I certainly wouldn't do heads only before cam only, even though a cam is more difficult to install. I paid over 500 for my last tune, but it was new cam, intake, and supercharger tune, and turned out I needed more fuel pressure. Ended up buying a BAP, which is about the only wrench work I didn't do.

Ok, thanks. Well I did find these on ebay, I'm trying to get more info but if they check out I'd be able to get the cam too. Even less than patriot
