engine build advice
was leaning toward a forged LS3 417 stroker with ported LS7 heads etc...I think I can get to the upper 500's HP without going with a cam that hurts daily drivability too much....
I'm open to all NA options that fit within my budget, and that is still a "reasonably" civilized daily driver. Tell what you would build and estimated HP/Torque output etc please.
Thanks in advance guys...I just want to make sure I explore all options before pulling the trigger.

would you recomend running that cam on the street as a dailey driver/part time HPDE car?
can you get more power out of that engine and still have "decent" manors by going with a cam that is not limited to its racing class spec?
also, do you happen to know if thise heads are ported, or if the Class rules he runs in prohibits this?
trying to get a feel for any additional potential that engine might have, or shortfalls as a dailey driver.
itsa very sexy engine at an incredible price....
also, anyone with with other build suggestions?
too much performance and durability for DD is really a function of price....and that thing is at a great price

uncomfortable is another matter.
though, for that price I guess you could dial the cam back a bit to make it more street friendly, and still be getting a good deal on a bullet proof engine.
Call the seller.
now your in CALIF. may wish to talk to local builders to get ideas of conforming to your Smog laws.
Putting in a stock crate engine with all the smog equipment in place would take care of that.
