Default Which Magnaflow flows best?

Does anyone know which Magnaflow system flows the best? There are 2 on their website, one has 2 output pipes, the other has one. I assume the dual outlet is the better system.

Doesn't matter. 2nd pipe while it is open, gas takes the path of least resistence and most comes out the 2 inboard pipes on my Magnaflows.

According to Magnaflow, the 15xxx (older system with center exhaust plate) flows better and is capable of handling more horsepower than the newer 16732 because of the smaller muffler. However the 16732 is slightly louder. For a stock or slightly modded C5, it makes no difference which one you choose.

Magnaflow also sells the straight pipes (dual) if you're looking for zero restriction (no mufflers). However, you will probably need to wear earplugs while driving (loud drone).

Don't think straight pipes would work! I currently have Borla XR1 w/ cats, going to install LT's w/ no cats, would be way too loud. I would like to see a diagram of exhaust flow inside both mufflers though, almost seems like single outlet would be better.

I have the 16732 Magna Flows and the sounded ok, not deep. When I installed long tubes, x pipe and high flow cats they came alive. Great throaty sound without being too loud.

Makes NO difference--strictly a personal cosmetic choice---

Seems like the single exit might flow slightly better, I had a crossflow type on a Camaro SS, only thing that made any exhaust flow through second pipe was a small deflector. On a near stock moter, I doubt if it makes any difference.
