Default No fuel pressure, help

I have a fuel pressure gauge reads 20 psi. I checked fuses all good. removed connector to pump and checked all to ground with ignition on. one was 5v, rest 0. I assume the 5v is the sender. Any ideas? Also I connected hptuners and no codes.

Thanks
Jason

That sounds like normal operation. Cycling the key on should run the pump for a second, or two to prime the fuel rail. The pump will shut back off, until the PCM detects that the engine RPM's exceed a threshold. Once the RPM's come up, the fuel pump will be re-enabled.

What isn't normal, is that you are only seeing 20 PSI. Unless the fuel system has been apart, you should at least see close to 50 PSI, or more, even with a brief "bump" of the pump. Normal operating pressure will be in the upper 50's.

Are you sure that your gauge is accurate?
