I have a broken wiper switch that keeps the windshield washer pump running. I need to change out the wiper combo switch on a 2002 Corvette with telescoping steerring wheel column. Has anyone seen this changeout described on the forum with some photos?
Well, if only the button for the washer is messed up and you have the parts. You can fix it. Mine did it. You have to have the button though. What happens is the two springs in there get weak.
You can hunt around for a small spring. I used one from a old electrical relay. Just figure out the diameter and length you need. Put it in and put the button back in..
I will work. You may need to get a couple of springs to get the size that works best.
well its possible to do it without taking the dash apart and just removing the trim pieces around the steering wheel and the panel under the steering column. I did it just a few weeks ago.
No that's on the left side what you are talking about is on the right side. After you get the trim off it is pretty easy from what I remember so that part if it would help.
