Hi guys, normally I haunt the C4 section since that is what I have but I have a question that would be better answered here. I am putting an Edelbrock Pro Flo XT intake on my car and it uses an LS style throttle body. Is there any way I can do something so I can adjust the tps, my voltage is showing over 1 volt at idle position. Any insight would be much appreciated.
You are correct. The C5 TB does NOT have an adjustable TPS. If your careful, you could probably SLOT the TPS mounting holes so that you could rotate it. Your really not going to get much adjustment doing that but, it something.
Another thing to think about. The C5 Throttle By Wire TB does NOT have any throttle stops
How are you controlling the Throttle By Wire OR are you using a F body cable actuated TB??
If I remember correctly, the C4 needs 0.45 VDC for proper idle.
Close, it's 0.54 and I am using a throttle cable. I'll have to see if I can do a little more adjusting of the throttle blades to get it down to an acceptable number, thanks.
