Default Air Intake Ques

Looking at the Vararam VR28 Intake System for my C5. Looking at the picture though, I looks like its missing some stuff. Do I need to add anything else, like the K&N Induction System?

Might be a dumb question, so be easy on me

Nevermind, figured it out. Need to buy the duct too. Im putting in stainless LT headers too. Heard something about heat issues under the hood. Should I put any wrap around the headers?

I personally woudn't wrap the headers....but when I put my headers in I zip tied the wires by the starter and wraped those wires in heat wrap....

You don't have to buy the duct. I personally think it looks better and I noticed a bit of an improvement in throttle response with it.

Wouldn't the duct provide more air flow compared to the stock intake?

VARARAM is one of the only cold air intake on the market that provides a true performance increase.. Regardless of how UGLY people say it is or how much of a PITA it is to install (I didn't have any issues) it just flat WORKS!!

My 2 cents!

Unless your sporting some SEROUS HP MODS (over 500HP),, the duct will NOT make any difference. If you like the LOOKS of it,, SPLURGE ON!

SUPERCHARGER!!!!!!!!???????
Reserve a place on E BAY or C5 parts for sale / wanted for your VARARAM as it "VARARAM" and SUPERCHARGER don't have anything in common!. You will NOT be able to incorporate it in your supercharger install.

I run the vararam on all three of my personal Corvettes. If you check out my website I have some pretty good pricing too. Good luck with the car. If you want to buy some LG headers I will make you a REALLY good deal on both together. Let me know.

You can't use the Vararam with a supercharger.
