Transmission Rebuild
Hey guys, I bought my 03 Z06 just over a year ago. Not long after I bought it I started having problems downshifting into 2nd gear anywhere above 20ish mph, it would try and grind the gear. Anyway I took it to a shop and they suggested starting with a Trans flush, which helped a little. After some research and talking to some people locally, the general consensus, was that I need to have the tranny rebuilt.
So my question is, where would y'all recommend I send it to be rebuilt. I believe I can remove the tranny myself with some help but I don't know where I should have the tranny done. I defiantly want to make sure I don't have any more problems. Thanks for the help.

You have NOT provided ANY location or critical info (THAT SUCKS) but,, MY personal recomaditon for a tranny repair is Rick Kim,, RKT56.com He is a Forum member. He is AMAZING with rearend/tranny stuff.. Cant beat that!!!!!!!!!!,, With a BIG STICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
