I don't believe there are any Corvette specific shops in Tucson, I think you'll have to trek up to PHX. If you do, check out Cordes Performance. Great prices, great people and you'll be getting tuned by the best tuner in the area, so the consensus seems to be.

I think down is correct. I have a 01 and outside of newcar dealerships I have had no luck.

I'm down in Sierra Vista and I have been looking for a good shop too. Closest places I have found are up in Phoenix. Damn long way to take the car to get tuned.

I was just up at Xtreme Performance in Tempe last month. I was thinking of H/C/I and tune............went in with budget and hopes and came out like our government, over budget and with little hope.

I'm trying to find forum members in the area around Tucson, as well as any car clubs that may be able to help with other issues instead of the drive up to Phoenix.

You as well as others are welcome to PM me if you're in the Tucson area. I'm available to help in case you need something.

One of my buddies down in Sierra Vista drove his C6Z out to CA to get his heads done just this week! Crazy how a State with such gorgeous year-round weather, there is no solid "Go to" shop for Corvettes.

I heard Xtreme went South after the owner passed away a few years back. Luckily, I got in when Xtreme was "North".

Last time I needed any work, I had my ride delivered to LG Motorsports in Wylie, Texas. yes, it is a bit out of the way, but I am always in good hands with the team at LGM.

MikeD33, what ride you have? I am in and out of Sierra Vista myself.

Have you seen me?

I have an '03 EB Z06, I think there are two of us in town.

I think I have seen your car on the road out here. It looks a whole lot like a friend of mine.

Send a note to forum member WayneO . . he's an avid racer and performance guy that lives on the north side of Tucson - - he'll be able to suggest a couple of places.

Good luck-

And so that WayneO doesn't get a bunch of messages from us all asking the same thing, can someone post any shops in tucson he might recommend here in this thread.

There seems to be nobody in the Southern Arizona region. I do all of my own work.
Anybody up for a Vette meeting at Poco and Mom's at 22nd and Kolb?

Tucson Meeting

Last Corvette get-together we had in Tucson reeled in just over 70 Vettes. Nothing like a 1/2 mile snake of Corvettes running up Mount Lemon!

What is this Poco and Mom's? Someone's house? Hahahah

We (GF and I) may be up in Tucson Saturday. We often hit up Mama's Pizza (On Speedway) when we come to town. Nice place with plenty of outdoor seating.

(Just a suggestion/back-up idea)

Cheers!

Poco and Mom's is a great little locally owned Mexican Food restaurant. There are a few Vettes that show up there besides my son and I.

Mama's?!?!?!
Gag. Might as well go to Papa Juan's or Little Sleasar's.
If you want the best pizza and wings in Southern Arizona then we should have a Vette-together(TM) at Rocco's.
Not as roomy as Mama's but the food is better.
Rocco's versus Mama's is kinda like comparing a Vette to a fireburd.

I go to Loud Pedal in Tempe anytime I need anything done. They can do warranty work too.
