I have the Borla Stingers and X-pipe. Very loud. From 65-75mph it is to loud to talk on your phone. Once I heard it was that loud, I decided to go with headers too. Very disappointed with the HP gain per cost.
I have not heard the GHL Bullets. So I am not much help.
If you are looking for a power gain: X-pipe and Stinger 7.11 RWP
Stainless works headers 9.28 RWP
On my club's trip to Bowling Green, I listened carefully to the exhausts while we were driving. I found that the Corsa's were loud enough, but I didn't like the tone at all. I found two that I liked - one was a Borla, the other a GHL. I don't think they sounded that much different.
Inside my car, there are only a couple of sets of transient conditions where the sound becomes - let's say strident. One of the is bogging the motor below 2 grand, which I don't do with the manual. The rest of the time I'm enjoying the aural kaleidescope of layers of tuned sound.
Thanks for the replies, I don't mind a little loud, just don't want to sound like a farm truck. Loudmouth and regular glasspack type bullets just too loud. I think I'm going to try Stingers, mine is a manual also.
I ran GHLs and loved them. A friend like them so much he sold his Borla Stingers. Deep sound outside, and the GHLs had less drone in, and the tips would stay alligned, the Stingers would be perfect one day and then off the next.

One thing to note is Borla changed their exhaust line up quite a bit. Most of us are only familiar with the older stinger. They now have more with different sound levels etc.

This was a few years ago so it would be the older design.
I have Stingers... absolutely love them. They aren't as loud as Bullets, but they are one of the louder mufflers. Very aggressive sounding with a near perfect deep tone. A little drone at certain loads, but it's manageable.
I'm running the GHLs on my '02 Z and I am absolutely in love with the sound! They sound nice and crisp at idle with a deep rumble when you're just cruising. However, once you put your foot into it, it starts to come alive. Dare to mash the go pedal to the floor, it sounds like all hell breaking loose Also note that my exhaust setup also consists of American Racing headers and catted x-pipe so my Z obviously sounds more aggressive. Unfortunately, I don't have any videos on my YouTube channel with the setup.
