Default Header clearance

I am thinking about going to long tubes, I am also going to relocate my coils on frame rails directly across from the headers. I am thinking of ARH or kooks 1 3/4". Does anyone know which will give the most clearance between header and frame rail. Also the best plug clearance.

I've got Kooks LTs w/ 1-7/8" primaries...with everything bolted up, I've got decent clearance all around. It's a little tricky getting to the left-side O2 sensor, but not bad. Good clearance to get at the spark plugs...

To be fair, the headers were installed by a shop, most likely right before they re-installed the engine and cradle. I tried getting them out to put on some header wrap and it was a no-go for me...I removed the alternator and both valve covers...they wouldn't come out. Couldn't get the car high enough off the ground, either, but I doubt they would've come out the bottom.

If you try to do the install yourself, I would suggest pulling the intake manifold and jacking up the engine a little bit...should give you the space needed to slip them in.

FYI Kooks go in and out through the top and you need to jack the motor up a ton. But once they get in they are worth it! I was able to do mine just by pulling the valve covers, coil packs, alternator, oil filter, and starter and loosening the steering shaft (didnt remove it)
