Default Help - Engine Swap

I am about to buy a motor for my C5 and was hoping to get some help. In particular, I am buying an LS3. Will the following items from a C5 motor swap onto the LS3 motor:

Oil pick up and oil pan
valve covers
ignition
coils
throttle body
fuel rail and injectors
harmonic balancer
cam sensor
crank sensor
coolant sensor
map sensor
knock sensor
oil pressure sensor
plugs and wires

I am sorry for the long laundry list but my hope is that someone has been through this and readily knows the answers. Thanks in advance for any help.

what heads are on the LS3?

I'm sure your aware of the cathedral vs square port differences on the intake port?

Throttle body? No. You'll need to get a LS2 throttle body with a silver blade, not gold. Some folks selling their throttle bodies don't even know which they have. After that, you'll need to get the Caspers LS1/6 to LS2 throttle body adapter. Scoggin Dickey sells that. SDparts.com

You'll need to get the Lingenfelter adapter for the crank sensor since your motor has a 58X reluctor wheel in it and you need a 24. The converter box will solve that.

Coils will plug right in at the main harness.

Injectors will need to have EV6 ends soldered on instead of the EV1 ends that come on the C5's. You can buy adapters from FIC.

You'll also need to buy an adapter for the knock sensors and the cam sensor. Those can be gotten from Caspers or Scoggin Dickey.
The oil pan fits perfectly, better than the stock batwing. The pickups are interchangeable.
Use C5 headers, not C6

IF your LS3 is a newer dry sump setup, you're in for a lot more adaptive work.
