Default Re: TTS vs. TPIS headers (Scott97)

If you plan to install a head/cam packages I would go with the TPIS.

The TPIS are 1 3/4" vs the 1 5/8" of the TTS.

BTW, I've had the TPIS on for nearly a year without any quality issues.
I have TTS right now. . along w/ a vortex, I dnyo'd 332/351. As we speak I'm having Stage II heads and cam installed and the TTS are a little more restrictive than I like.

If you're not going to go mod heavy, the TTS would be ideal. Since I am, I might go w/ larger headers. I'll sell you mine used if that's the case. IM me if interested.

Default Re: TTS vs. TPIS headers (RG in Dallas)

We have a shop locally who has done almost 30 sets of the TTS for us, and they do the TPIS and others. They(who are supporting tuners here as well) have told me and our customers that they are not any harder than any others and are better quality with better collectors. The flange to the head is much thicker as well.

RG
I got my headers and several other things from RG and followed his advice and I've been very pleased w/ the service and install done by SpeedWorks, FWIW.
