Default Running the vette without catback exhaust??

Good day everyone. I am in the process of swapping exhaust from b&b bullets to stock z06 Ti exhaust (for personal reasons).

The issue is that I won't be able to coordinate the swap at the same time. Would I be OK removing the b&b at my house and driving the car without catback exhaust in a few weeks to a shop to install the Tis?

Well, heres my opinion...... It will be VERY LOUD and you will expierence EXTREME Interior Cabin Resonance. The resonance will be the KILLER paryt of the expierment. Been there,, done that.

You will have an Indy car expierence! However,, Look where the open mid pipe will exhaust to..

Right on the "K" member/REAR SPRING area.. If you can protect the spring, then you should be good for a short drive.

Did I say that you will have MASSIVE DRONE???

You mention protecting the rear spring. How would I do that without spending money buying pieces to deviate the exhaust from the mid pipe?

Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Other than installing turndowns it all depends on how far you have to drive and how long you plan on leaving it that way.

If its just a short hop to a garage, find some heavy duty aluminum foil and wrap the spring with foil and use the foil to direct the gasses around the K member...

That was WAAAAAAY back in 04. Its NOWHERE that clean now!!

Do you have AAA? I have the Plus RV which includes 3 free tows up to 100 miles. I've used it to move cars.

If you're going to remove the B&B's, you could install the Ti's too, just need to get it high enough in the air to get the pipes over axle.

I drove around without an axle back for a week to see if I'd like the sound of straight pipes. Didn't hurt anything or discolor anything etc. It wont be an issue, just annoying.
