Clutch master cylinder gremlins?

Clutch master cylinder gremlins?
Here are the particulars,
Installed new oem clutch master cylinder with reservoir,my understanding is that they are already bled from the factory but I checked this one out with my Mityvac and it still bled some more.There are no fluid leaks in this system,none at the slave,none in the lines,quick disconnect, period.I do notice either the slave/clutch or master cylinder are squeaky with this Dot 4 clutch fluid though.
Heres the big problem,after bleeding this system I noticed that the pedal has maybe a half inch of freeplay at the top which is obviously air but as I pump it more and more the pedal actually "leaks " down to half a pedal,almost like air is getting in the system somehow.Does this sound like a bad slave or master? I did power bleed this master as well as mityvac to pull out air,I am wondering if I may have damaged some seals?Over did it? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
