Today I began replacing my steering wheel position sensor. While under the dash I found this item under the column and it wasn't connected to anything. I've searched and didn't see any connectors for it.

Any idea what this is?

I Googled "Tyco 15477384". It's part of your column lock.

I believe that's the GM k-harness which was the GM attempt at a column lock bypass.
