Default High speed fan switch

Hello. l have wired my Parts List Hayden #3647 adjustable fan controller module on my C5 with help from a great article here on the forum. However, it gives instructions on how to wire it to make your low speed fans come on at desired temp and briefly mentions that with additional connection and circuit complexity, one can run the fans at the high speed. But it does not mention or give any other info on how to perform this wiring set up. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

To oversimplify, the fans are run in series for low speed and parallel for high speed. If that makes sense to you, you should be able to figure out how to wire it accordingly.

It'd be simpler and cleaner to just re-program the PCM for the fan operating temperatures you want instead of messing with that silly controller and hacking up the wiring on your car.

If you really want to keep messing with it, you need to energize 2 relays in the underhood fuse block to get high speed. There is a signal wire from the PCM that commands high speed and you will have to ground that wire yourself to make this happen. Otherwise, you'll have to remove the stock relays and just wire the controller to both fan motors.

Your profile lists your Corvette as a 2009, which is a C6.

You would probably receive more specific answers to your question by posting in the C6 Tech section of the forum.
