Running rough with no codes? What gives?

Running rough with no codes? What gives?
On the way home tonight,My c5 just started running rough,idle was fair but acceleration real rough. No codes in Dic either,kind of strange..any ideas? It almost seems that if I really laid into the pedal it would clear itself and run fine but then come back rough again. I did notice at idle and hour later it would fluctuate from a good idle then back to a little rough and back again to smooth,any ideas?
I did have the plugs and wires off earlier in the week to drop headers as well as change out coolant temp. sensor....

I'm no mechanic, but I have been wrenching on my cars since the early 70's. I have found that if a problem pops up after I have done some kind of work on the car, 99% of the time, the issue is with, or around, whatever I just worked on.
Barring someone chiming in with a specific possible fix... I'd recheck the wires, plugs, coolant temp sensor, and anything that could have been disturbed when you dropped the headers...
