trans leak 1998 C5 Auto
Add me to the list. Mine doesn't leak on the garage floor, but in reverse and moving, leaves a trail just like Yosemite Sam laying down a gunpowder trail. It's a 15 yr old vehicle, 52k. Probably needs a lot of love at this point. After searching the site over and over again, I couldn't find a step by step DYI (do yourself in) repair process, so I ordered a FSM. Climbed under there, it doesn't look that complicated. Drop the torque arm, back it off the bolts. Slide her out nice and easy. Anyone find an actual gasket instead of rtf? once my FSM is here, I'll post step by step.
