Default which Fuel pressure regulator?

I'm getting stuff ready for my fast 90 intake install on a 99 FRC. I have the ported intake and a set of Fast fuel rails I'd like to use. I'm not sure about the plumbing arrangement. Anybody got pictures of theirs that they will share, suggestions are appreciated also. Thanks

Who ported your FAST??

I have a NEW in the box aftermarket adjustable Fuel Pressure reg for 97-98..

Have you considered the MAP Sensor relocation Kit? I really like mine. What Throttle Wiring Harness are you using??

Have you considered obtaining ported plastic MAF ends OR upgrading to a late model MAF??

Stock Fuel Rail with 42 lb/hr injectors

What are your HP goals??

Bill

Hey Bill, I sent a brand new fast 90 to California to Tony Mammo for porting, it cost me $700 for the work but obviously I wasn't there so who knows who did the work. He also ported the ls2 TB. I have the Casper wiring harness. I bought a set of 243 heads and they are at Advanced Induction in Charlotte being CNC ported, with their valve job now. I sent a new set of dual valve springs and titanium retainers also. I'm using AI's camshaft. I've got a set of LG long tubes for it also, It will be tuned with the rear o2's deleted. I've already got the Vara Ram intake on it, and have removed the AIR pump and supporting hoses. I'll be happy with ~ 410-420 RWHP, but the Guys @ AI say's it should be more like 430-440. I'm going to start looking for that MAP relocation kit I like the way yours looks, where did you get yours?

The LS6 TB is 3 bolt and the FAST 90/92/102 are 4 bolt for the 90+ TB.

No amount of porting is going to get you the right bolt configuration on the TB.

Your fuel pressure regulator is built in to your fuel filter. Just get your fuel line hooked up to your fuel rail and your good.

I have a return line off of my regulator but I would suggust putting the regulator at the end of the system and then capping it off instead of having it go back to the firewall like I had to do with mine...

Yep sorry, the TB I have is a LS2 with the Casper wiring adaptor. Am I correct thinking a aftermarket fuel regulator will be required to use the Fast fuel rails?

I know the fuel filter "says" it has a built in regulator. My stock fuel rails look like there's a regulator in that line also. So, I just plumb the 2 rails into the fuel line without a regulator? I hope someone else will confirm this option. thanks

Agree. An aftermarket regulator would just complicate things. Just make sure you always get the correct filter for a 99.

Yup, you're right, you better confirm what I'm saying as I'm just making this stuff up as I go along.

Good luck sir.
