Only difference is the air tube connections.

Oh that is relieving thank you. Now this may be a long shot, but the person I bought the headers from welded the air tube connections closed (unrepairable), is junking that whole air system easy to do?

Yes. Just remove all of the hoses etc and have someone with HPT or EFI live tune out the AIR portions of the diagnostic trouble codes.

Air tubes are the biggest concern. Those seeking shorties would find differences in the air tubes and mid pipe connections. Long tubes are just different at the air tubes. Be sure you do not have to pass emissions before deleting your air injection system

I installed my XSPower headers about a year ago. I also have a 99 and you will have to modify it to bolt up a different way or replace with an 01 - 04 model dipstick. I cut the flat bracket, bent it a little, drilled the hole to bolt to the air tube bolt on the header. 8K miles later still no issues. Hope that answers your question.

Yes there is. 97-00 bolts to the manifold and 01-04 bolts to the block. Either replace with newer or modify to work. I modified and bolted mine to the air tube flange since the air tube isn't installed.
