PCM possibly lost by UPS...
Sent my PCM to ECS last week for their mail order tune and just my luck the package still has yet to arrive to them...
UPS is currently looking for it so I have my fingers crossed that they will find it.
If UPS doesn't find it I know I would need to get a replacement and wanted to know if a new one would require a trip to the dealer for them to flash it and install whatever programming that needs to be on there.

Sorry to hear that, believe it or not, that would be the first lost PCM we have had yet. Although some did take extra time to get to it's destination.
If it does turn out to be lost, I have PCM's here, just PM me your vin number. I can even get it out today if you like and if yours shows up just reimburse you for the difference.
New PCM's are $125 with vin set up, but I'll waive the vin set up fee given the situaton, so $100. That and the tune file would be $249 total.

I'll give UPS a chance to find it over the next day or so and if doesn't turn up I'll get in contact with you on your offer.
Luckily I did place some insurance on it.

I'm on it! I'll have it out Monday though. To follow up on your luck.. I sent out my last PCM on Thursday, but ordered more immediately.
They will be here Monday and I'll ship it right out.

I can't believe it... my PCM showed back up on my doorstep today...
Doug, if you haven't done a replacement yet I'll go ahead and send this one back out to you to get tuned. I'm not in a hurry and can wait the extra time. I do appreciate everything so far.

I went through the whole lost in the mail with an overnight package with my title and registration paperwork that I sent to the DMV back home in FL. USPS said it went from my house in Cali to FL, GA, then back to FL. A whole week worth of nail biting and it finally showed up at the DMV in FL. Oh and for the final kick in the OO's, USPS wouldn't reimburse me for the overnight payment either because they said it did make it to FL in one night, but It never made it to the proper PO box. They got me good!!! Jay
