UPDATE UPDATE 06/27/13

Finnaly narrowed down to two bulbs. Red high power 30 Watt and 50 Watt. Should have a test set this weekend. Going to try both. Will take picture of LED and OEM bulbs mounted on car both day and night. Bottom line is cost will be around $60.00 for all four shipped. I will not be selling them but when complete you can PM me (if allowed) for contact information on company located in Alabama that will be importing and selling them.
Should be complete this weekend (maybe)

Does this require separating the housing like you posted last?

The 3157 bulb is about 9W/27W. I find your LED wattage numbers hard to believe. 50W of LED is a LOT of LED's being powered or a bunch of waste power going into resistors. I've seen 3W point LED's like shown in this thread used as brake lights and they were stupidly bright. It's mostly useless to compare incandescent to LED bulbs by wattage anyways. Got a lumens number? The 3157 brake filament would be around 400 lumens.

this may impinge on the income of some of the vendors here, just FYI. They deleted my post that was VERY detailed (probably spent an hour making the post..) covering the parts I used for my head/cam swap and why. Wasnt biased, in fact it was anything but, but if it doesnt make the paying vendors here look good, they'll go George Orwell on the post.

Seperating housing will not be required.
As far as Vendor Infringement that is why I said if allowed?? I have nothing to gain from this and the reason I did this is I did not feel like paying $300 for lights that I did not like to begin with and wanted something brighter while keeping the OEM look, so the vendors would not have gained from people like myself anyway.
Let me finish the project and see the outcome first. Might be a flop?
I will post pictures when completed (hopefully this weekend) and we can move on from there.

Sorry, but had a little problem posting the pictures. In the first picture, the left is stock bulb, right is LED, running lights. About 20-25% brighter. Real nice at night. I love it. The second picture shows break lights. Slightly brighter than stock. The bulb is a 30 watt, high power Cree LED. There are 2 LED bulbs with a magnifier in the front equalling 10 watts and 4, 5 watt bulbs around the sides. I love them and will not go back to stock bulbs again. The fact that my car can be better seen at a distance at night is worth the effort. The 4 bulbs cost me $63.40, delivered. Most places that handle similar bulbs are getting well over $30 each plus shipping. I have no problems with hyperflash since I already installed the harness when I installed my Switchbacks.
I do not want to break any forum rules, PM me and I will be glad to send you more information. The company that handles these bulbs is in Georgia and has a wide assortment of LED bulbs. The pictures don't really do the bulbs justice. Lot better in person true rich color.

I installed a set tonight. They look very nice. The brake lights are slightly brighter, but the running lights are considerably brighter. Really compliments the all the other LEDs I have in the rear, finishes the rear of the car with that digital look.
