Good to see people that understand this stuff. Last thread about clutches (the LS7 clutch) when I pointed out that the 60 odd pounds of clutch will only hurt performance the responses were that it would help at the strip and that it'd be such a small change it wouldn't be noticeable.

FYI the stock flywheel is about 24# IIRC, so the heavy flywheel is heavier than stock! Keep in mind that the entire clutch assembly is over 50#, so that 6# loss WILL NOT kill your driveability. The clutch itself is more to blame for the driveability, I've had a few light FWs in my day and once you get used to it, it'll feel like stock especially in a light car like the Corvette.
