C5 02 no reverse please help

My car was in storage and i had to charge my battery to start it. When I finally started it my car would not go in the gear for reverse. It will go through all the other gears but reverse. I cannot place the car in reverse. Please help. Thanks.

Year, mileage, type of transmission? (I'm guessing manual based on your post). Will it go into reverse with the engine off?

2002 Convertible and it is manual. Does not go into gear if car is on or off. Thanks
