Oil temp probe location ?

Oil temp probe location ?
I just installed an accusump and setrab oil cooler on my c5 Z.
I picked up an Auto Meter sport comp mechanical oil temp gauge to keep an eye on temps, but the probe is too large to fit into the port off the oil line block.
Where can i install this probe?
I found a sensor on the right rear of the oil pan that might be a candidate...what is it's current function?
Any guidance would be appreciated.

I pulled that sensor..looks like a great place for a temp probe. Just need to get a fitting with the correct threads. Being a track car, I don't rely on a light to tell me wher the oil
level is.
I like the oil cooler block you found, looks like it has an extra port for the probe as well...that piece alone probably would have save me $100 in AN fittings.
