I just bought the baer bump steer kit, from a fellow forum member, I would like to know is it worth it? Does is really reduce bump steer. My car is lowered and alignmed for max performance, and the bumps on the highways in ny are notorious. Anyone have this kit installed in their car? Does it work? . Also how long does it take to install this kit? Thanx

I hear you have to be SLAMMED, like 2" lower than stock to need one.
You'd need new shocks before you'd want a bump steer kit.
You running Bilstein Sports?
I'll be measuring my bump steer in about 1.5 weeks.
My front fenders are 26 1/8" with 2/3 of the front bushings cut.
Will measure the up/down toe change during alignment.

I will have to measure it up tom if I can. I hope it does help at least a little. I feel like a jackass for buying this kit without making sure it's right for me :bb

I do not beleive the type of spring has anything to do with bump steer on a car, it has to do with the geometry and the change in geometry as the suspension works. I dont know about everyone else here, but Inoticed some decent bump steer on my stock height 02 C5 as soon as I got it.
I plan on lowering, so I figured it would only get worse if i lowered the car,
correct ??

You can take tire sidewall height out of the equation by measuring from either the lower lip of the rim, or the center of the hub. If you measure from the hub, then it doesn't matter if you've got 17's, 18's, or 19's.
