Default ls spyder intake

I am in the process of completing a deal for a used ls spyder sheetmetal intake. I have read the brief description on the nitrous warehouse page.has anyone out there had any experience with this intake?they claim 35hp over a zo6 intake and it looks trick too.any feedback?

thanks

I hear it's really meant for 600+ HP engines.
You'll loose a good bit of low end TQ, but a larger intake is necessary to support 650-800 HP.

I don't have any low end tq now :D my car pulls like a sportbike....flat until 3800 then hold on! the tires usually break loose about 5800 in first and second.besides I can always put it on the shelf for the big engine that will eventually find its way into the car.

Hogan's Manifolds makes a cool sheetmetal manifold for the LS1. They can even taylor the runner length for your application. It's spendy, though! I see one in my future.
