Both of those must use shallow headed screws on the valley pan or the manifold won't sit down. Other than that, if it's been apart the seal that runs around the interior can move out of place and leak.
I run a new style FAST 92. Had it smoke checked to make sure. No problems here..
I had it checked because the only possible problem spot I say during the install was how loose the MAP sensor sat in the top. But I siliconed it in from day one and it has not been a problem.

Only thing I've recently seen was a post regarding a poor/leaking fit in front, at the bottom of the TB when using non-FAST TBs. Maybe that is a TB-specific issue. I don't recall much in the way of details at the moment.
