Default What else should I consider while I'm in there.

I'm fixing to do a head & cam change on my 99frc. the parts i already have are: 243 heads fresh from AI with new springs and titanium retainers and their CNC port job, I also got the head gaskets, new lifter, lifter retainers, and new comp rocker bearings and their suggested cam. I've also got a "new" Tony Mamo ported fast 90 and TB with the wiring connectors. I have a new lower ls6 PCV style intake cover to install also. My used long tube headers are in nashville getting coated as i'm writing this. I know I need a new timing set, probably a new Rollmaster will be my choice, My car runs great oil pressure, I think i'll reuse the oil pump. I guess I'll figure out which push rods it needs after every thing is back together. And last but not least I have a new set of MSD wires (need plugs though). Have I missed anything? I'm looking for 415-430 RWHP

While you have the intake off I would relocate the oil sender, by installing a oil sender relocation kit that several of the vendors on this board sell. There are also several threads on making your own kit.

I forgot to add I have a 10% underdrive ATI balancer With new gatorback belts, and the ATI pin kit. Hum just thought about it, might as well get 2 new belt tensioners and a new idler pulley while I'm @ it.

YES!!

- Roller Rocker Trunion Up-grades. The improved trunions are very high quality and a big improvement over stock!

- Rocker Trunion perches. They can and do wear and cause rocker geomerty inconnisitys. Carefully examine the area where each rocker sits in the perch and if there is wear/slop,, replace them. They are only a few bucke each..

- ARP Head studs. Once you install and use this,, you will ask your self, WHY,,, did I wait so long to do this improvement???

- ARP Damper Bolt. Same comment as the one above!!

- MAP Sensor Reloaction Kit! Same comment as the one above!!:cheers
