Congratulations on the new purchase. This link is for the lowering procedure but if you reverse it, you'll get it raised plus it has good pics to show where to make the adjustments.

http://frankhunt.com/FRANK/hobbies/c...5_Lowering.htm

For the front, put a jack with a block of wood under the end of the leaf spring as close to the lower control arm as you can get and jack the spring up a little to relieve tension so you can turn the bolt.

After you're done, drive it around for a few days and then get an alignment.

If prev owner either cut the pads on the front bolts, or removed them altogether, you will have to find replacements. You can't buy oem new ones. Just aftermarket that aren't near as good as stock. Let us know what you find.

Also you will be able to tell the shape of your pads once you remove the tires. In my case I was replacing the complete stock spring to a Z06 spring so I replaced the bolts as well. My pads were trashed- all flattened and deformed.

Depending on what OEM Suspension you have,, upgrading can make a world of difference in handling and ride.

If you have Base FE-1,, You have the option to up-grade to Z51, ZO6 or C6 Z51..

You can also significantly improve the ride and handling by installing C6 ZO6 OEM Shocks. They drop right in and work fantastic. All four new can be had for $250.

OH,,, Don't forget to get rid of those nasty plastic sway bar end links. Up-grade them to the metal end links.

Unfortunately you can't get OEM replacement bolts new...
Fortunately there are aftermarket bolts available. Check out westcoastcorvette, they have them for around $22

Edit: 8vette7 beat me to it cause I type slow...haha

All of the FRCs came standard with the Z51 suspension and manual 6 speed, in fact that's the only way you could order the car.

The Lingenfelter are expensive, but the delrin sounds like a good deal. It is hard and slippery.

Not sure about those cheap ones, I read here that the pads don't last. Might ask what they are made of.

I've only experience with the stock ones.
