Default Swaybar Question (2004 C5)

I was checking out the various threads on the Hotchkis sway bars and I have a couple questions.

First, since my C5 is a 2004, I already have metal end links. Can they be used with the Hotchkis sway bars?

Second, does Hotchkis offer their C5 swaybars in red? I've seen a few photos online of red swaybars with the Hotchkis name in white, so I'm curious if they are available for the C5.

Thanks!

Thanks. I'm not familiar with Eibach sway bars. I will check them out. Perhaps those are the sways I saw.

I've also seen the yellow Pfadt bars.

I was wanting red, too. But Hotchkis comes in black as far as I know. Oh well, can't see it anyway.

Going to order mine today from forum sponsor. Good price, free shipping & $10 off discount code:

Actually, you can see the rear bar from behind the car that's why I think the red and yellow bars look pretty cool.

JWM is a great vendor and will treat you well. If I go with the Hotchkis sways, I might just bring them into be powder coated red to match my calipers/brackets. Just a little subtle suspension bling!

I bought my Hotchkis bars used from a forum member and used the stock metal links with them. The rear bar was a bit nicked up when I got it so I painted it with black rattle-can paint rather than powder-coating it and it came out great. Still looks good after all these years. I contacted Hotchkis and they sent me new logo stickers for free to replace the beat-up ones that were on there.

I also painted the brackets black.

Yeah, I guess you are right. But I plan to lower mine on the stock bolts as soon as I scrounge up enough money for new shocks... the next mod on the list...

I tried to find some used ones but no luck so went w/ new ones. JWM price was good, anyway. My car just has the base sway bars on it so I'm really looking forward to the new Hotchkis...

A little more subtle bling is good, too.

Patches -- I like your painted bushing brackets. Thanks for the pics. I just wish my car looked as good as yours underneath... Holy crap... Looks brand new...

I paid $100 to have both my C6Z51 sways powder coated Red. It's as close to Torch Red as I could find through their colors and it matches very well.

It's the Eibach's that come in red. That's what I have and they look cool. They also come with polyurethane bushings. Great kit.
