torque tube
Need info on making driveshaft longer to fit new wheelbase. need to stretch by 7.25". sugestion near milwaukee Wi ?

It is possible as other people have done it but, I personally cant tell you who does the mod or how they do it.
I will say that it’s a precision balanced part and whoever does that needs to be able to balance it,
Contact Chuck at Corvettes of Westchester NY. He uses a Drive Shaft Shop that replaces the propeller shaft /rubber couplings inside the torque tube with a drive shaft with U joints for high HP conversions. That shop may be able to help you with the conversion process or recommend someone that can.

Look for millwrights in your area to lenthen the torque tube.
The Driveshaft Shop would be a good place to talk to. They do a fair bit of Corvette shaft work so they'd know what would have to be done to successfully lengthen the driveshaft. My first though would be you'd need a larger diameter shaft to lenthen it.
The u-joint shafts aren't available anymore. Apparently, the carbon fiber shafts are used now instead.
