I'm pretty sure the stock LS1 controller parts (maf, ecm etc) won't work with the LS3. The link describes what's included. Hopefully someone who's done the conversion before will chime in..
Here is the page to some adaptor harnesses. youll need map sensor harness, injectors, cam extension, mass air if you change to a card type or zo6 mass air, throttle body harness, and knock sensor extension, http://www.speartech.com/category_s/1826.htm
You will need to use an LS2 silver blade throttle body.

Thank everyone for their responses.
As I view a picture of this engine it looks to be complete therefore I don't understand the need for injectors, cam extension, throttle body, knock sensor entension ( thought the knock sensors were under the manifold).
Did you get a chance to look at in on the Jegs.com website?
Thank you.
Please excuse my ignorance

Reason: spelling
The connectors don't match up with the ones in your harness. Some are different, some are too short.
Yes, I've seen the Jegs website. I'm thinking about doing the same swap myself. I get a pretty good discount from Jegs advertised prices since I've been doing business with them so long.
Once again, thanx to all. Starting to get expensive aad don't even have a quote on the labor install or a quailified shop to do the install and tuning.
See to be pushing $10,000 with all the extra parts needed.
May have to pass. I was just looking for more low end torgue. Would changing the gear ratio to 390 give me what I want (6 speed manual)?
$10k is probably a pretty good number for something like this.
I ran 3.90's in my 346 build and have always said "These cars should have come with 3.90's". It puts every gear in a more usable place and the seat of the pants kick is excellent.
I even got a wild hair and had Rick Kim put 3.90's in my 427.
