ok ive done alot of searching and seen alot of abominations for bodykits for the c5 what im trying to get answered here is is it possible to get the c6 body panels and put them on the c5 and why hasent anyone tried to do this? im interested in the rear bumper the most i favor it over the c5 and am just indifferent on the front end really. is it an overall car length/width issue or do all the panel mount placement between the c5 and c6 make this type of a swap impossible?
Just buy a C6 if that's what you want. Not only is it extremely cost prohibitive, it is a LOT of work. The frame is a different length, and things like the roof don't exactly bolt on.
I will never understand body kits that make a car look like something that it is not. Especially when the body kit costs more than buying the actual car you're trying to copy. This reminds me of the Fiero/ Ferrari kits of the 80's. They were absolutely tacky and you were left with a worthless mess that you couldn't even give away.
As others have said; if you want a C6, trade in your C5 for a C6.
