Default LS1 Iridium spark plug gap?

I'm installing a set of Iridium plugs on my C5 LS1 and have read different forums on the recommended plug gap for Iridium plugs. GM changed the spec from .060 to .040 but both gaps are available. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with either?

Go with 0.040". Many people have reported misfires or low rpm surging with the 0.060" gap.

Both may "be available", but if they look up the plugs specific for your car it should show the ones that are pre-gapped to 0.040".
