alarm issues
The last couple of days the alarm for my C-5 has started acting up. Setting the alarm with my remote fob, no problem. When I unlock the doors with my fob the alarm resets in just a couple of seconds on it's own. The alarm sets again but does not lock the doors. I have tried resetting the alarm holding down the lock/unlock buttons on the remote but that has not helped. Tried another battery from my old remote, no help. Finally bought a new battery and you guessed it, it is still acting up. Let me know what else I can do please. Thanks in advance, Bob.

What year is your car??? If it is a pre 2000 you may have the passive feature enabled. Turn off the passive feature or take the cover off the fob and see how much pocket lint has collected and clean it off. GM obviously never got the Passive feature figured out or they would have continued with it after 99.
