Heat generated from a higher stall converters and the extra power is harder on them too. A transmission cooler and a tune to firm/speed up the shifts.

it loops through the radiator, as many auto cars do these days. beats nothing, but not by far

there's a ton of threads here on DIY installs for the cooler. most of them suck, so ill be creating one in the near future myself.

One of the reasons I paid to have mine installed. It will be nice to have a quality write-up around here. Look forward to seeing how you format it and how detailed you get

Some of us are cutting 1.3 60' with the 4L60E - don't know what my hp is but know it's over 400 ... bypassed the radiator with the trans cooler

i didnt like the 4L60e til after 500hp, at the crank at least, then it got fun. kind of like putting a powerglide 2 speed on a 300hp car would be insane, but 800, and you're in business. just seems that it needs more HP than it comes with to make those tall gears seem more fun.

been discussed here, many many times. most people have said that cooler alone has done better. it'd be super simple to see for yourself once you have the cooler in place.

It's a nano system. Delivers consistent bottle pressure every time you spray and takes away the need for a bottle heater. They're pretty neat little systems.
