Default Clutch upgrade questions

If I wanted to put a C6 Z06 (LS7) style clutch in a C5 LS1 (2004), what parts directly bolt in or do we have to get adaptors for anything?

So far all I can tell is using the stock LS7 clutch means you might need a shim/spacer on the slave cylinder so the pedal isn't too low.

Is that it?

What pedal position do you have when you engage/disengage the clutch?

I know if there is too much space between the slave piston and throwout bearing the pedal will travel almost to the floor before the clutch releases/engages, and too little space the engagement will happen closer to the top of pedal travel (which is actually worse for clutch life as the pedal moves up as the clutch wears normally).
