Has anyone done a comparison of the various vendors' X pipes for effectiveness?

Inquiring minds want to know.....

The difference would be minuscule if staying at 2.5" between brands. Defending on the application, 3" etc. may make a difference.

On a C5/C6 an X pipe mainly changes the sound characterice of the muffler system more than the HP. Yes it does add a little HP but nothing earth shattering.
What ever benifits its going to provide you,,, the difference between one or the other is insignificant. Look for QUALITY over HYPE

I have a complete 3" Stainless works system with a robust X pipe..The fit and finish is excellent!



BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,IF,,,,,,,,,,, you can find the imfamous "O" pipe, ,,,, That will make SIGNIFICANT power!

when i changed to a corsa x-pipe I noticed a very nice difference in sound. it's really hard to explain, but I like the sound a lot!

Do you mean a Corsa X pipe to replace the stock OEM H pipe or you replaced a different brand of X pipe that was on the system with the CORSA??

not only that, it creates a pinging noise in the exhaust if you are using the ti mufflers.
