C6Z Shocks Noisy when cold?
I have a lot of suspension noise for the first 8 miles of cold driving in the morning (front and rear). I greased the sway bar bushings and when that did not fix the issue I changed to poly bushings with the provided grease and still have the same crunching noise when going over bumps when cold (below 60 degrees). I have checked the bolts for the, shocks, sway bars, metal end links, rear cradle bolts and exhaust system. I am sure it is not the sway bar bushings since I have wrapped the bars in Teflon tape, removed the tape and greased with white lithium grease and then replaced the bushings with poly bushings and the grease that came with them. I am thinking the oil in the C6Z shocks thickens in the cold and makes the noise. I have C5Z sway bars, C6Z shocks, Elite Engineering Tunnel Plate. I just hate the noise it makes every time I hit a bump when it's cold/cool out. Anyone else have any issues with the C6Z shocks? I am at the point of putting my stock shocks back on even tough I like the way it handles with the C6Z shocks.
