Default What would cause these codes?

Finally got an idling issue resolved so on to a new problem.I checked for codes today and found 3 codes for the RFA.They were u1016,u1064 and u1096.These were not there a few days ago when I checked.They are all H codes.I found that they were all loss of communication codes.I cleared them to see if they come back.I searched them and found all kinds of suggestions ranging from a weak battery to a bad receiver.Everything on the receiver works,remote and tire sensors.Would the battery terminals and battery be the first logical place to start?Almost forgot,it's a 2000 FRC

These are the last codes I'm still getting in my gremlin chase as well... I see in the schematics that the receiver communication wire actually passes through the IP electrical panel. C2 & C3... trying to figure out why & trace that out now.

The service manual references checking the star connectors for these communication codes..

U1016=PCM
U1064=BCM
U1096=IPC

Also make sure you have a good system voltage. Mine would freak out about stuff before i changed the battery.

All of my codes are for the RFA.I read somewhere that the manual says that no action is to be taken when these codes are H codes.I am going to read the manual today and try to see if this is correct.Thanks for the replies.I will keep you posted.

H codes are History codes. Just clear them. Your battery probably dropped voltage for a bit and caused them. If they keep doing it check your battery
