2003 Fuel Leak
Just picked up my 2003 Z06 from storage and filled the fuel tank, it started dripping gasoline from under the right side tank, took to GM dealer ( I hate gasoline ) and apparently right tank is porous at the top, requires a new tank, anyone else experienced this? September 10, 2002 build date, low miles ( 14,000 ).

just an update for all, it turns out the round plastic piece at the top of the passenger side tank that the evap lines etc hook up to was leaking where it was bonded to the tank, only serviced as part of the tank unit, so a heads up for anyone that may experience a leak in the future. With only around 14,000 miles was not expecting this type of failure, that is the problem with not driving them!

If you do a search on leaking fuel tanks, you will find that GM issued a recall for this very reason. This is covered. I and many others with 03-04 cars have had this corrected at the cost of the dealership.

I took my coupe in yesturday for a simple transaxle and AFT change and the mechanic called me back to look under my car and showed me where Gasoline has been dripping on my exhaust pipe and that my passenger side tank has been leaking somewhere at the top , now I hear that I must buy a fuel tank to fix it?? , my bank account is ruined
