Default oil sensor replace?

So my oil sensor might be leaking. How much work is it to remove intake? And where do i het that relocation kit I've been hearing about? And is there anything i can or should do while intake is off? Like hoses or sensors to be replaced. Thanks

I didn't take my intake off to replace the OP sensor, nor did I cut anything. It can be done, the hardest part was disconnecting the wiring clip. 45 minutes tops, I've not pulled my intake (yet, but soon) I've read it can be removed / installed maybe even quicker.

Pull the intake. You don't have to remove it completely from the car, just move it forward a few inches to get enough room to access the sensor. You won't have to disconnect the fuel line either. I can have my intake moved to access the sensor in about 7-10 minutes, and completely out of the car in less than 15.
So many times I read threads about people who try to do it without moving the intake and they say it took them forever because of the lack of room.

I would reach your hand back there and feel around to see if thats where it is leaking from.(lots of other places it could be) Part is 40 bucks to replace and you need a 1 1/16 socket. I made a custom wrench for my camaro oil sending unit that works great. GL and let us know what you find....

Well, if you have the intake OFF, you can seal the knock sensor well to keep water out and install the relocation kit easier too. Less than 4-5 hours with one hand!

Nice. So if you run the gage style doea is still have the electrical part that you plug in. Or does using the gauge eliminate it. Maybe a dumb ?
