Default Installed Vortex Today. Have questions

I installed my vortex today and seems to have a better throttle response than before. So thats a Good thing.

My question is the rubber foam that is included was wider when installed than my creavce in the shroud. It caused the vortex when screwed down to have a small gap in each top corner. Has anyone had this happen. I took a small amount of caulk to the gap and sealed it. Doesnt look bad but was wondering why this might have happen.

I had a blackwing before and I am noticing a difference in response. Do I have to do an idle relearn or just drive it for a while and will it get stronger down the road?

Thanks :seeya

No the foam was taller than the crevice. so the vortex didnt have a totally flat surface to lay on. There is no bolts in the top corners so it had a little gap there.

I hope I have explained this right. :)

Mine was a little off, so I had to cut and tuck in a little foam in some areas. I got a strong SOP feeling and did not do any relearn procedure. Just drive it and the PCM will adjust.

Your right mine is awesome. There is a deference between this and the blackwing no doubt. I know alot of people like the blackwing and I had one to but it doesnt compare to this not even close guys. :smash:
